I have started this rising damp remedial business as an addition to my existing pre purchase property inspection business. Being based in the inner west suburbs of Sydney with a lot of old properties, rising damp is more common than not. I decided to use my experience in the building industry and my “old home” inspection expertise to treat rising damp in these old properties.
Crucial to eliminating rising damp is efficient sub floor ventialtion which most of the old terraces and semi detached properties have difficulty with due to design constraints.
We are experienced in both damp proof course installation and sub floor ventilation and usually both areas need to be addressed for an effective rising damp solution.
